CHAMPANGE

Statesman is an Independent Intelligence Agency founded by the same founders as Kingsman posing as a Bourbon whiskey distillery. The American cousins of the Kingsman. The Statesman is led by Champagne, who feels the name doesn’t suit him so he prefers to be referred to as ‘Champ’.

Champ’s father was the very first Agent Champagne and he was the one of the main contributors back in the 1900s when Statesman was first founded. His father emphasised and placed utmost importance in his relations. In the Statesman, he was well known as Family Champ, as he treated his colleagues and subordinates like family.

During the early times, he discovered that a secret organization in Country V was involved in illegal business concerning hundreds of million dollars. Due to the importance of this mission, the then Agent Champagne was assigned to lead a group of agents to infiltrate and stop this organization. Everything went well at first, but one of the agents made a huge mistake due to his complacency. Agent Champagne, without hesitation, gave his life to protect his agents and ensured the safety of his team. The mission was a success and the organization was destroyed, but at the lost of the greatest agent. Agent Champagne was a legend in Statesmen, and the agents brought in his son to be his successor.

At lost when he first received news of his father’s death, Champ was resolved to uphold the same justice his father once stood for and decided to join his father’s legacy. From a promising young man, Champ followed in his father’s footsteps and rose up to be a reliable leader of the Statesman, that have never suffered any loss since.

Character (might have somemore, but these are based on the show so far)

He’s deeply concerned at his agents’ wellbeing, every interaction between him and his agents show that his devotion towards them are very strong.

He's constantly taking a sniff or a swish of bourbon while discussing important strategies with the Statesman and the Kingsman. He doesn't actually swallow anything, however, and keeps a spittoon by his chair.
